i had an expensive pen i carried with me at work, it had sentamental value because i purchased it with my wife in venice after a tortuous attempt to find a store that carried fine pens.

last year it went missing, i was mortified that it just dissapeared and painstakingly retraced everything i did the previous day.

i concluded it got left on the table at a business lunch i had the day before.

I think that thefts at work are among the worst, as you almost always know the thief, passed him in the corridor, drank a coffee with him. etc

The point seems to be that you are afraid that they might be right. Its normal to have that nagging doubt. But it goes away with the passing of time.Remember,cults prey on fear. Not one thing that the wt has predicted has ever come true. They are always modifying the party line in order to try and keep some credibility.

But they have never ever been right. Proof enough that they are not god backed.

billions of human beings right now are muslims, hindus, buddhists, etc, etc.

they do not know a jot about 'jehovah' or the 'watchtower bible & tract society of new york" etc etc.

what is going to happen to these billions of persons at armageddon?.

in a couple of hours i'm going to the doctor - an intervention.

i don't want to be a burdon to my mother, she has her own life to lead with her own responsibilities.

i've always been able to take care of everything for myself.

It's normal to be scared. When I had a bad spell,several years ago now, I reassured myself, thinking, this isn't going to go on all my life just the same.

One day, I will get to the end of the tunnel.

And I did. And you will too. Believe me. It sounds like you are a fighter by nature, dispite how you might feel just now.

Were You Ever Interrogated By The Elders?

some elders enjoy giving the business to the lowly flock thru intimidation.

some love to ask you to enter with them into the "backroom".. of course, there were many that never had run-ins with the shepherds because they were under the radar.. did you ever get interrogatted by the elders and if so, how did it go??

I hadnt thought about it before, but no matter where you go in the world, the elders drag you into the `backroom'

Ours had an enormous window too, so everybody could see and wondered what you'd been up to.

i was thinking this weekend of a brother i first met when i was a teenager.. not yet an elder, this brother was very outspoken, and was viewed a kind of hero to the r&f.. an inexperienced teen, i also believed ( influenced by others) that this guy was a godsend.. looking back, with the eyes of a more mature person, i now consider him an arrogant self opinionated bully.. he later became an elder and i might add that he also had an imposing physical appearance .

but he had no education.

no schooling.

steve: I knew a simiar elder back then. I remember my dad giving my a diary from his job, in 1974. This elder looked at it one day and told me: you know, the date of armageddon is in there (as it had the calendar for 1975 in the front page).

As a young boy I was all in awe.

both does a great job of defending me and making the elders look foolish!.

thank you raypublisher/jj and jwstruggle for the awesome job you did on it.. follow up story was not recorded but we will post it here hopefully over the weekend.. enjoy, it's pretty hilarious how they try to control us and come after me on a work of fiction!.

Knowing the MO, one thing that stinks is this:

When talking to the wife about something she has done, they ask the husband to be there because HE is her head.

So, OK, its good in this case that her husband is there to defend her, against two bible wealding morons, but from their point of view, he is her head, she doesnt have any rights.
